Let us begin our devotion with a prayer.
Gracious father we thank you for another time of praise and worship and fellowship with you. A time that we can say that you have come to renew our strength, a time that we can say you have come to mend all our wounds, a time that we can say that we have experienced the real deal. Thank you for those of us reading this and thank you for those who will read this. We pray you call us by name today. Please reveal your deep truth unto us even as we start another journey this week. We bless your name and we honour you in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heavens and earth: (For everything there is a fixed time)
Sometimes you need to pause for a minute and tell God, I need to hear from you and not get satisfied with the things around you.
The only reason for time is that everything shouldn’t happen at once, according to Albert Einstein.
Time
Time is a basic part of our universe such that while we turned to what is in relative harmony with it, it is far more complex than we realize.
Timing is related to the one which is important and which we need to exploit, because it’s a daily factor of our lives. More than that, it will be part of our spiritual future because God Himself has perfect timing.
Season
God has seasons in life. Seasons are Larger Elements of Time and God mentioned Season in the creation account in,
Genesis 1:14
And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
King Solomon’s Advise
Ecclesiastes 9:11
I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favor to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.
Timing comes out frequently in the sermons. Reason is that we should be careful of how we use our time.
Saul was unwilling to wait for Samuel’s arrival according to 1 Samuel 15:1
And Samuel said to Saul, “The LORD sent me to anoint you to be king over His people, over Israel. And now listen to the voice of the words of the LORD.
As a believer you need to wait for your time. Your time will bring the best that you need so don’t run ahead of your time because in His own time He makes all things beautiful.
God Loves You
John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
All men have sinned and fallen short of God’s Glory, yet God made the provision of eternal life for you through the sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ. If you wish to be saved to day, kindly say this prayer:
Prayer of Salvation
Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me even though I am a sinner.
I surrender my life to you as my Lord and saviour.
