The Heart of a Man
Proverbs 16:9
“A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.
Ezekiel 36:26
“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
The heart pumps our entire blood supply through it chamber, over 4 minutes. But the spiritual heart, the heart of the Bible is more than a blood pump. It is in the mind, the seat of our emotions. It is where we decide to take action. It is our will, it is with our heart that we believe or doubt, accept or deny or deny God.
The Bible teaches that the heart is the center of our spiritual life, which includes our emotions, moral life, and it shapes who we are and how we relate with others.
The heart of a man is a wellspring of life, it can either lead us into sin and separation from God, or a deeper relationship with His true Son Jesus christ.
What kind of heart should we have? We must have a heart focused on God only. Beloved, God must be the first in our lives. Those who put their trust in God, God will not disappoint them.
