Compassionate shepherd

Mark6:34
“And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.”.

Compassion is a deep awareness of end sympathy for the suffering of others coupled with a desire to alleviate the suffering, it involves the difficulties or pains someone is experiencing and feeling move to take action and help the person. Therefore, compassion goes beyond more than mere empathy which is understanding, another person’s feelings by including an active component of wanting to reduce or remove the distress from the person.

When you read 2 Samuel 7:1-14 David was a shepherd boy before he grew up to become a warrior, so until you have gone through the needs of doing things that people will not do, you must learn how to do things right that will not affect you nor anybody around you. David humbled himself to learn things he never knew and later graduated to become a warrior, a poety and final become a king.

David had many wealth but yet sinned against God, upon all the sin he did to God, God still forgave him and refer him as the one who’s heart is after me, so God does not rejoice over sin but when you confess your sins to him he is faithful and just to forgive you, as the scriptures says for all have sin and fallen short of the glory of God but the gift of God is eternal life making us a better person neither of us are righteous in the sight of God, for our righteousness is like a flitty rage.

God called David as a man after his heart because David had a deep relationship with God, as Christians what kind of relationship do you have with God the one who makes sure that you luck nothing, do you study his word and prayer all the time; or you read the bible and pray whenever you feel like, his word teaches us that we should study to show ourselves approve of him.

As Christians we have to know the word of God, we have to work and walk with it as if our life depends on it; because a day is coming when Jesus will come and we will not have the opportunity to refer to the bible. And so, brethren work hard to study the word of God, because on the day of judgement you will have no reference to make only the one you have learnt, so brothers and sisters learn the word of God and impress him because if God is for you no one can be against you.

When Jesus went with his disciples so many things happened to him that he was moved with compassion. We are his followers because we have a need and he is going to fulfill the needs of each and everyone on us in Jesus’ name.

Grab the wisdom of the word and say to yourself that the gospel of God is for you. God is a compassionate God and so therefore he demonstrated his compassion and show it any time towards us as sinners.

Jesus never met only the spiritual aspect but he met the physical needs also, so as Christians we should draw on the spiritual need of God, by learning his word, praying and having a good relationship with him spiritually, because his word is what will change your heart.

Jesus is here to heal, mend your broken heart, make you pure and rule through real believers, and if the son of God makes this it will be of benefits. To you healing and restoration is from him, wherever Jesus went people bring the sick to him and he healed them. his ministry was the deep concern of the wellbeing of other people around him.

Jesus is a son of God who heals, restore broken relationships and he has called us to be compassionate for one another, never wait until you are big before you care for one another, love and care for one another and share what you have and watch what the lord will do in your life, he will surprise you without you knowing it.
