Abiding In Christ
John 15:7
7 “ If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.”
Jesus identified himself as the True Vine and we as christians are his branches, and his father God prunes it. The moment we detach oursleves from God; life becomes hopeless and meaningless to us.
God is telling us that we should be still and abide in him for He is with us and so we should trust in the Lord for Him to use our enemies to bless us for He is a God who never changes.
When the world discourages us, Jesus comes in and says it is well with our souls. He accepts us the way we are when humans reject us.
Let us learn to abide in Him, we should trust and obey Him, and He will save us from all our troubles. When all has failed and you can not do anything, the Lord will smile on you.
Be Faithful to God not because the pastor will see, but because He will surely reward you openly in his own appointed time.
