The Lord Is our Shepherd
Psalms 23:1-5
1. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He lead me beside the still waters. 3. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousnessfor His name’s sake. 4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5. thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Points To Note
The Lord is our Shepherd, and with Him, we will lack nothing. In the times that you are in trouble, the Lord will remember you. God will provide for us as He provided for David and Elijah.
The rod and the staff of a shepherd are symbols of guidance and protection. God’s guidance will come through a still small voice, through an angelic intervention an dGod’s presence will never leave nor forsake us, even in our darkest way.
In our wilderness experience, we will find God’s resources. God’s presence will always be with us. When we rest in His presence, we will be refreshed by His Holy Spirit. Don’t give up yet, because the Lord is not done with you.
No matter the season you’re in today, remember that God is with you. Just as He was with Elijah, He will be with you, He wil comfort you, he will protect you and will supply all ypur needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus Amen.
