My quite time this morning
“Genuine Affection”
“Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.”
Romans 12:10
The Good News: The holidays are all about spending time with your loved ones and reminding them of their positive influence in your life.
There’s only (7) days to the end of 2019.
“Pay attention to your environment.”
Questions:
- Who gives genuine love?
- Why do we have to honor ?
- What brings a real affection?
Lessons:
All of us have affections. We are people of the heart with emotions and feelings. That is how God made everyone of us. The question is Where do we set our affections on? Col 3:1-2 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above.
Today we penetrate further into the relational experience that God intends for his people. He intends for us not merely to do to others as we would have them do to us, but he wants us to feel good toward other believers . It is true that love is more than feelings. It is also true that we should treat each other with respect even when we are feeling upset with one another.
Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor.
Beloved
I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. In Christ Jesus

Our father in heaven
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it,
The world, and all who live in it;
for you founded it on the seas
and established it on the waters.
We humble come to you for strength to
Live today without compromising with sin
