Beloved, the Christian life is hard work . It involves systematically striving to implement the truth of God’s word into your life. Spritual depth and maturity do not come without consistent effort.
Jesus said, a man who takes the words of God and build them into his life is like a wise man who builds on a rock.
What is your foundation? Is your life solid and grounded in the word of God? Watch and see what happens when a storm comes.
There are no shortcuts to spritual maturity.
Building on sand leaves the builder in a vulnerable position but the building on the rock is secured and solid.
Friend!
There is only one solid foundation one should build on , and that foundation is Christ Jesus the solid rock.
Prayer ?
Father in heaven
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name…
Please help me to acknowledge that
I can on build on you as my foundation
In Jesus mighty name. Amen
