The One Who Comes in Victory

Everyone believes in Associating with the Successful

No one wants to be associated with failure
Different people like different football teams and root for their teams to win.

When we hear about the success of other black Americans, we naturally feel proud because we are black Americans. Like Serena Williams, Martin Luther King, Beyonce, etc.

Jesus wants to share His eternal Victory with you

Jesus illustrates this with His entry into Jerusalem
There were at least 2,500 people in Jerusalem on this very day.
When everyone was in town, there was this rumour from the Galileans, that the King was coming

Jesus in His lifetime had ministered to many of these people. Many of whom were poor and rejected.

Jesus came for the poor, not the arrogant like the Pharisees and Sadducees and the Scribes. Not people who go about bragging about what they have done.

Be like the Galileans who were poor  in heart and shouted Hosanna in the Highest, there comes our King.

Let God use you, don’t fight against God

The bible says that many are called but few are chosen. There are times that we feel hated for the things of God. We forget that those who fight against the things of God, fight against God Himself.

Be encouraged for this is what the Word of God says:

Luke 1:53
He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

The Pharisees and and Sadducees plotted against Jesus because they felt that His Kingship would not benefit them.  Jesus even knew who would betray Him at a time that Judas did not know. Jesus knew all that they were planning to do.

Do not betray Jesus

How many times do we not betray Jesus? When we do not read the Word of God, when we do not Pray, and when we are too busy to spend sometime listening to God.

God is a God of time. Timing is critical to everything that we do. There is a time for everything. When you have a pet in your house, and it shows the signs of needing to use the washroom, if you dont attend  to it, it will mess up your room.

God does everything according to time

Ecclesiastes 3:11
He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

God has promised that He will be with us at all times. It was God who chose to be in Jerusalem at that time because it was prophesied 1,730 years ago that He would be there.

The question is that, Jesus being the King, why couldn’t He bring an aircraft to show that there comes the King. But Jesus did not do so, but rather said to His disciples to go and untie a donkey.
They went and untied the donkey because the Lord has need of it. Jesus was humble and obedient.

When asked even if He was the King of the Jews, He did not boast, but asked what they thought of Him. He stayed humble.

  • Here comes Jesus, the one who is our deliverer
  • Our healer form Covid
  • Our provider
  • Our wonderful counsellor

Proclaim that Hosanna, to the King, the one who redeems us from the curse of Sin and Death.

Would you trust this Jesus? Would you allow Him to use you? Are you willing to say that Lord, I am ready on any day to serve You? The day is coming and it is soon when we have to show Him what we have done with our lives.

Remember that we are here for a reason. God brought this message to you today for a reason. Allow God to use you for His Glory. Let those who have ears, listen to what the Spirit of the Living God has to say.
